1. I am looking forward to my trip to Orlando and hopefully doing some hiking now that the weather is less warm. It's been too long since I've been in the woods. I am also looking forward to the birth of Lily, my friends' second daughter, due in the beginning of October.
2. I regret not going to the gym more often.
3. My favorite teacher in grammar school was Sr. Christine. In HS, the triumverate who didn't take my shit make up my favorites -- Mr. D'Amato, Ms. Strucko, and Mr. Schlenger. In College, Professor Dutkofski.
4. I loved my literature classes, always.
5. Hmmm....well, I'd buy those high boots at DSW. Then I'd probably hit the Newport News catalogs -- I love their stuff.
Round 2:
1. I love to swim in the summer.
2. This summer...I sold stories to two more magazines. That felt pretty great.
3. Swim, swim, swim. When I was a kid, I swam every day.
4. Maui, last year. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
5. I already feel like the summer is over -- it really got away from me this year.
Round 3 -- my own:
1. When I was in the first or second grade, I wanted to be a blonde. I cried and cried when my mother wouldn't let me do it.
2. I really like the Jessica Simpson song, "With You." I hate to admit that but I think the song is adorable.
3. Let's dance to 80s music!
4. I used to love Mr. Misty slushies from Dairy Queen. At the beginning of the summer, I tried one. IT WAS HORRIBLE. I wanted to take a brillo pad to my tongue to get rid of the taste. Yuck yuck yuck YUCK.
5. Treat!! We are going to Victoria and Albert's for Halloween!
