I am home

Thank you for all the well-wishes.

The trip itself went well.

The funeral also went well (for those who were unaware, my grandfather died very suddenly last Wednesday); I wrote a eulogy, which I will post sometime later this week. I am ok. A little melancholy -- with my grandfather's passing, an era has ended and all the people I grew up sharing a house with, save my parents and siblings, are now gone. That is a little hard to deal with but I am ok. Though I don't want to talk about it right now, please.

I came home with lots of pictures, as well as a box of home movies that I will be calling around to get prices on transferring from Super 8 to DVD/VHS. So if anyone wants to see footage of my 3rd birthday, Jamie's first trip to Disney World, or my dad's first summer in Ringwood, stop on by Ferchak Cinemas. Once they are all on DVD, I will torture you one by one.

Glad to know opening weekend at NYRF went well for those who attended/worked. I am on the fence about whether I am happy I was not there or disappointed that I was not there. I am leaning toward happy, at the moment.

Anyway, I am back home for now, and easily reached once again. Please feel free to call, email, or IM. You know how to find me.
