1. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A poet. I wrote my first poem when I was five; it was publishsed that same year. Then I also wanted to be a private investigator and a veterinarian, Maid Marion, and a Sorceress.

2. When you were 18, what did you think you were going to do with your life (career/college major.)

I thought I was going to be a publicist for either horror authors or rock stars, or an entertainment lawyer, specializing in contract litigation.

3. It's hard to know what to do with your life when you're 18...is it at all similar to what you do now?

Not even remotely. I was closer to the mark when I was 5.

4. What was your favorite/most interested past job you had that is unrelated to what you are doing now?

I LOVED working as a Customer Service manager for Airtours when I lived in Orlando. Great fun, great perks, lots of hospitality industry invites and parties. Planning weddings, birthday parties, family reunions, fun fun. The downside was the occasional bouts of bad news (sometimes horrible things like deaths and accidents) and the ultra-crabby customers screaming for free Disney tickets because there was a crying baby on the plane.

5. Guidance Counselor Marcy here...Money is not an object (you won enough lottery to now worry about how to pay the bills, and you are bored/it's the Star Trek universe where we have evolved past money.) What job would you do to fill your time?

I'd write. I love it. I would also travel extensively and eat in many restaurants, all hopefully leading to a book.
I saw the MOST GIMUNGOUS hawk EVER. It might have been a Roc, intent on carrying off Princeton's prep-schoolers. It was immense and very dark brown, with easily a 2.5-3 foot wingspan. HUGE. Made me desperately wish the camera was in the car.

Huge. Honestly. Just huge. Gorgeous too. A little icky in that it was chowing happily on what I think used to be a possum when I drove past. But such is the circle of life, one supposes.

I am so tempted to drive past the same spot on the way home and see if it is still there.
1. What is your town/state known for?

Me. Not a whole lot else. LOL. Oh - the awesome American Diner and Martini Lounge.

2. Everybody worries about something. What do you worry about?

3. Who are you?

I am fabulous.

4. What do you want to achieve in life?

A best-selling book.

5. What would you tell the leaders of all the countries on earth to do to promote world peace?

Get your dicks out of your hands, swallow your bloated pride, and KEEP RELIGION OUT OF IT!
1. What are you currently craving, food-wise?

2. What will you be having for dinner tonight?

3. What is your favorite fruit?

4. What vegetable do you hate?

5. What's the speciality of the house at your house?
