OK -- a lot of you are going to hate me for this, as it's kind of similar to the 100 Things list that went around a while ago. But this time you have a week.

Spend the next week compiling a list of things about yourself, things people may or may not know but that you think are important. This list can be anything from "I am highly allergic to peanuts" to "I REALLY hate the Banana Boat Song." The point here is that the things on the list should affect you in extreme ways -- they should be very important to *you*.

The reason I want you to spend the week compiling it is that I want you to try -- as best you can -- to list things as they occur to you or even as they happen. For example, you are in the grocery store and you see a brand or type of cookie that you've not seen in a long time. Instantly, you are transported back to a particular time/place and you are feeling strong emotions as a result. So, your list could say, "I remembered that I really really love Hydrox cookies because of the time my grandfather and I ate them while watching the sunset at the lake." (that's an example, not a specific memory). In theory, this could also lead into other list items, like "I really miss my grandfather" or "I fell into a lake once and now I am afraid of water" etc etc.

The list can be as long or as short as you like; the list items can have explanations or they can be vague. By that I mean, using the above example, you could say the whole thing about cookies and your grandfather or you could just say, "I really love Hydrox cookies." HOWEVER, and here is the other rule, if someone wants to know more about something on your list, they are allowed to ask. You can answer at your own discretion, by email, on LJ, or in person.

Who's up to the challenge?
